Pace Forward is a community-based nonprofit organization, 501(c)(3), dedicated to inspiring fitness, wellness, and connection through accessible and inclusive running events and training plans. Our mission is to encourage individuals of all ages and abilities to embrace an active lifestyle while promoting connection, togetherness, and support within the running community. From virtual races, fitness challenges, or training resources, we aim to make movement a celebration and a catalyst for positive change. By encouraging active lifestyles and fostering a sense of community, we help people improve their health, build confidence, and connect with others—whether they are running their first 5K or working toward a personal best.

ESHAN JHAVERI
Founder,
Executive Director
Eshan Jhaveri, the founder of Pace Forward, brings his passion for running with his dedication to build stronger and healthier communities. In addition to being a sophomore at Edison High School, he enjoys running long distance and has completed several half marathons. Eshan's goal with Pace Forward is to create opportunities for people of all backgrounds and fitness levels to embrace running. He also works closely with Pace Forward's board members to grow the organization's impact. Whether this be through hosting virtual events or creating comprehensive training plans, Eshan is committed to promoting health and connection through all of Pace Forward's initiatives.

VISHAL JHAVERI

Vishal Jhaveri is an avid long-distance runner, combining his passion for running with his commitment to inspiring others. Having completed several marathon and half marathons over the past 10 years, including the TCS NYC Marathon and Dietz & Watson Philadelphia Half Marathon, Vishal brings a wealth of experience and dedication to the sport. Whether it’s through sharing training tips, organizing group runs, or participating in charity races, Vishal strives to encourage running for everyone. His journey reflects not just a love for the sport, but also a drive to connect and uplift those around him. Through Pace Forward, Vishal aims to inspire a love for running while building a healthier, more connected community.

AESHA JOBANPUTRA

Dr. Aesha M Jobanputra is a dedicated, ABIM-certified physician specialising in sleep, pulmonary, and critical care medicine, with a deep understanding of the critical role exercise plays in promoting overall health and well-being. An avid runner, she has completed several half marathons and encourages those around her to embrace running and active lifestyles. She is excited to support the organization’s mission of building community through running, helping beginners take their first steps, and fostering connections with seasoned runners by sharing valuable insights and resources.Through her role on the board, Dr. Jobanputra aims to encourage inclusivity and wellness, ensuring that fitness becomes a foundation for physical and mental health in the community.

Helly Amin, a passionate runner and advocate for healthy living, brings both personal experience and enthusiasm to her role as a board member at Pace Forward. Having completed multiple half marathons, she understands the value of accessible fitness opportunities and the sense of community they create. Helly's goal with Pace Forward is to help make running and wellness resources available to people of all ages and abilities, fostering inclusivity and connection. She is committed to supporting initiatives that inspire confidence, improve health, and empower individuals to achieve their personal fitness goals.
